It will be special evening featuring the songs that Clapton has played as covers of other artists, such as Big Bill Broonzy and Robert Johnson. A sort of double cover. Skidders will be supported by John Chivers on percussion and backing vocals, Paul Hogg on bass and Anatasha on keyboard.
The name of the evenings music was derived from Claptons albums Me and Mr Johnson and Sessions for Robert J, as it is a turn around as a tribute to the great man himself, Eric!
As well as Robert Johnson covers from those two albums, there will be covers other artists originally performed, from the One more car, one more rider live album. Tickets may be bought on the evening on the door at just 3.50
